Full restoration of the 'White Lodge', construction of a new community events building and extensive landscaping works to the surrounding park.

The White Lodge underwent a comprehensive restoration after much of the building had become unusable, with only the ground floor café remaining operational. Works focused on preserving the building’s original charm, including the refurbishment of features such as sash windows, staircases, fireplaces, and timber detailing. Where elements were beyond repair, they were replaced like-for-like. The ground floor flooring was carefully restored, while the first floor was redesigned to include new office and meeting spaces.

A west-side extension provided room for a new lift, an expanded café, exhibition space, additional storage, and public toilets. A new 503sqm Community Events Building with capacity for 160 people was also constructed on the site of the former greenhouses. The Stable Block received a full internal refurbishment, including restored windows, doors, and the creation of lettable office units.

Additional park enhancements included new toddler and junior play areas, restoration of the bowls pavilion and bandstand, pond improvements, and pathway and entrance repairs.
