Over £15,000 raised for Macmillan
As many of you may be aware, back in October a team from Borras braved the elements and undertook a gruelling sponsored walk around the western section of The Isle of Wight Coastal Path in order to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support, a charity close to many of our hearts.
Today, a number of the team were delighted to welcome Vicki, a member of the Macmillan team, to our offices in order to present her with a cheque … an outstanding £12,850, which complete with Gift Aid took the funds raised to in excess of £15,000 …
This is an outstanding achievement, HUGE congratulations to the team and all those involved, not forgetting of course our thanks to James Harrison for organising the event and to all those who supported the team…
