Luton International Carnival is one of the biggest one-day carnivals in the UK. Hosted by the UK Centre for Carnival Arts, this year saw the 48th Luton International Carnival, Luton’s biggest free family event, take place on Bank Holiday Monday.
Bringing the lively carnival spirit to the community, commencing with a vibrant parade, the day showcased many diverse cultures. With interactive shows, music, immersive storytelling, local school performances and a wide range of food choices from Caribbean flavour to Vietnamese food, there was something for everyone!
Having undertaken a number of projects within this locality for both private clients and Luton Borough Council , this year he Borras team (including guest appearance from our mascot ‘Buddy’), joined the throng. Manning a stall selling creations on behalf of charity NOAH Enterprise, we provided games and of course offered smaller members of the family the chance to meet ‘Buddy’.
Our thanks to colleagues Adrian, Carol, Mollie and Louise, and of course not forgetting ‘Buddy’, whose hard work paid off… a long but thoroughly enjoyable day!
