Negotiated fit out and refurbishment of a basement level spa facility, creating one of the 'finest spa of its kind' in London's East End.
We were pleased to return to work with our valued client, the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, following our involvement in the building’s initial refurbishment. This phase focused on the fit-out of the Spa area located in the basement. Key works included the installation of a new reception desk, M&E upgrades to lighting and air-conditioning systems, refurbishment of all treatment rooms, new floor and ceiling finishes, and full decoration throughout.
Further enhancements were delivered through formal variations, including structural repairs to concrete beams and the supply and installation of a new infrared sauna. We also completed the full refurbishment and retiling of two steam rooms and the plunge pool, installed a replacement sauna, and upgraded both male and female changing rooms. Additional improvements included enhancements to the monsoon and bucket showers, replacement of all spa ironmongery, and the installation of new, interior-designed fixtures coordinated in collaboration with LM Designs.
